Taiwan Digital Talking Books Association (TDTB) is a member-supported organization dedicated to the development of advanced technology and the adoption of international standards in the production of digital talking books for people with print disabilities and dyslexia in Taiwan.
It is registered with the Taiwan Ministry of Interior as a non-profit organization and instituted according to the rules and procedures set up by the Ministry. TDTB officially began on January 10, 2004.
The goals of TDTB include：
- To develop or adopt the technology for the production of digital talking books according to DAISY 3 or ANSI/NISO Z39.86.
- To promote the adoption of digital talking textbooks and reference books for people with print disabilities.
- To promote cooperation and sharing of experiences with other like-minded organizations around the globe.
- To improve the quality of life for the visually impaired in Taiwan through computer training, counseling and conducting support groups.
